Malixis AI ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Information we collect
When you join our waitlist we collect your name, email address, business name, business type, and optionally your Instagram handle. When you create an account we also collect account credentials (via our auth provider), workspace/business profile details, usage and product analytics, billing identifiers, and social media channel credentials or tokens you authorize so we can publish and manage content on your behalf.
How we use your information
- To deliver the Service (content, publishing, inbox, analytics, billing)
- To send early access notifications, product updates, and transactional messages
- To personalise onboarding and improve the product from aggregate usage patterns
- To comply with law, enforce our Terms, and protect platform security
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with processors needed to operate the platform, including Stripe (billing), social platform APIs you connect (e.g. Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google), email delivery, and cloud hosting. Each processor is bound by contractual data-processing terms. See our Acceptable Use Policy. Enterprise customers can review the public DPA summary at /legal/dpa or request a signed copy at privacy@malixis.com.
Data retention
Operational account and product data is retained for up to 2 years of inactivity unless a shorter period applies. Audit logs are retained for 7 years for security and compliance. Waitlist data is retained until you request deletion or 24 months after last activity, whichever comes first. After a verified deletion request, we purge your personal account data (profile, memberships, matching waitlist/invite records, and auth identity) within 30 days. Shared workspace records (brand, connected channels, content, inbox, billing) remain with the workspace. The immutable audit trail is retained.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data at any time from account settings (Privacy) or by emailing privacy@malixis.com. Where GDPR or similar laws apply, you may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
Cookies and consent
We use essential cookies required for authentication, security, and site functionality. We do not set third-party advertising cookies. Where optional analytics cookies are introduced, we will ask for consent before enabling them. Clear site data in your browser to see the cookie notice again.
